Celerina was born on November 21, 1958, in Brgy. Lawa-an, Basey, Samar. Her life’s journey took her to Tacloban City for her education and into a career teaching elementary school children.
She retired from Basey I Central Elementary School in 2023. We honor her life, her years in education, and the memories held by her family, friends, students, and colleagues.

Family and friends gathered for her Funeral Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church in Basey, Samar. She was laid to rest at Basey Public Cemetery on September 21, 2026.
